Interior concept and design

Office of advertising agency AKQA in a historic canal house in Amsterdam. The 1,400 m² workspace was designed to attract creative talent and provide a dynamic working environment.

The design preserves the character of the canal house while introducing contemporary elements that create a clear contrast between old and new.

The office is organized as an open workplace with meeting rooms, shared kitchens, and informal seating areas throughout the building.

Several interior elements were custom designed and fabricated by zero-Lab.

Reception
Reception desk combining ebony veneer with back-lit translucent Corian.

Canal-side meeting room where original ceiling paintings were uncovered and restored during renovation.
