Originally conceived around a leftover slab of travertine, this coffee table combines reclaimed stone with a minimal solid oak structure inspired by Japanese woodworking.
The exposed joinery and intersecting rails create a delicate framework supporting the weight of the stone. Every structural element remains visible, making construction an integral part of the design.
Initially developed as a one-off prototype, the table has inspired further exploration of the design with a transparent glass top, revealing the complete oak framework.
